Wall Painting
Part of the Pori Ars Megastore Contemporary Art Festival
2021
'Not Much To Do' is a wall painting depicting an abstracted exploration of life cycles - those of spaces, objects, individuals, species, and the planet as a whole. The painting moves through the artist’s visualizations of our current collective late stage of life, along with alternate imaginings of what could have been, or could be.
The work reflects on its surroundings in the soon to be abandoned mall that hosted the Pori Ars Megastore Art Festival. What do we with spaces, objects, and life styles that have lived out their shelf life, but remain to haunt us?
